CENTRAL STATISTICS OFFICE
Description
After a competitive tender process Lightbox won the project to design and develop a site for the Central Statistics Office that would serve as a portal to their content and make it easy for the general public to find statistical information of interest.
Starting with a blank canvas Lightbox designed a logo for the site and the associated graphical user interface. In the back end we developed a content management system that parsed existing XML files to display on the site and to provide meta information about the statistics that the user was about to view.
As a government website accessibility for all users was a key issue and we ensured that the site met all of the latest guidelines in terms of code and usability to adhere to the standards.
