Description
Lightbox have worked with Media Contact over the past 9 months on the redesign of their website and development of their database application for the previously bound version of the Media Contact Guide. We took the book version of their product and built a database driven web application to bring this content to their audience in a more accessible and user friendly way. The site allows the registered user to search for media contacts, add them to their own custom lists and then send out press releases to people on their lists.
Aside from this functionality, the site enables users to sign up and pay for the service online using their credit card for recurring payments as well as posting and viewing jobs online.
Mediacontact.ie is Ireland's leading publisher of print and online media directories. Their extensive product range includes the Irish Media Contacts Directory - the definitive guide to the media in Ireland, MediaDirect - Ireland's most comprehensive online media database and press release distribution service, MediaExpert - Ireland's definitive list of media performers across 50 disciplines, MediaJobs - the latest media jobs in Ireland, including CV upload and search, and MediaFlash - a weekly online newsletter read by over 5000 professionals.
